IPRoyal 2024 Q3 Update: IP Allowances, New Test Pages, and More!

IPRoyal is all about giving you the best proxy experience possible, and the last quarter was no different. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure our proxy service keeps improving, and now it’s time to share the details.

Let’s dive into all IPRoyal Q3 updates, as there are quite a few. Here’s how to take advantage of each new feature, page, and tool to ensure your projects run seamlessly and successfully.

Allowances

We start with a brand new feature that we’re very proud of - Allowances ! After hearing from some of our residential clients about seeing websites they didn’t visit on their data usage reports, we knew we had to find a way to help them save data.

That’s how we came up with Allowances. This feature lets our residential proxy users block and allow specific domains from being scraped. So, if you want to block access to certain domains, you can do that in the Restrictions section. The Permissions section is where you whitelist domains.

This way, we give you control over what your proxy servers can access, thus improving performance and optimizing bandwidth usage.

To activate Allowances for your account, please contact support. Note that you must meet the API requirements for this feature.

Invoices Dashboard Page

We’ve introduced a new “ Invoices ” page in the dashboard, making it easier to manage all your billing in one place. You can quickly select the invoices you need and download them as a zip file with just one click.

To help you find specific invoices faster, we’ve added filters that allow you to sort by product, quantity, amount, and date. With this update, we aim to save you time and keep everything organized for more efficient invoice management.

New Locations

We’re constantly updating our proxy network with new locations to ensure everyone can find the IPs they need. This quarter, we’ve added new locations to our datacenter services, helping you access even more geo-restricted content and limited-edition drops.

From now on, you can access dedicated datacenter proxies in Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Israel, and Qatar, making a total of 56 countries to choose from. The updated location coverage positions us among the best dedicated datacenter proxy services.

New Product Name

In the last quarter, we’ve updated the name of our flagship product in the dashboard to make our offerings clearer for our clients. Before the update, our rotating residential proxies were labeled as “Royal Residential” in the dashboard and just “Residential” on our official website. Now, this service is named “ Residential Proxies ” everywhere.

New Test Pages

Another important Q3 update is the introduction of our new test pages, which are available to everyone.

You can now use our TCP/IP Fingerprint Checker to ensure your fingerprint is not exposed, which is crucial in web scraping, network security and troubleshooting, and online privacy. This tool reveals the average score for different OS based on your fingerprint, checks your IP for potential OS mismatches, and offers detailed information about TCP/IP packets.

Next, our WebRTC Leak Test can show you whether the IPs of the devices on your network are compromised despite using proxies. If that’s the case with your proxies, you can change them on time to protect your network and data against various cyberattacks and profiling by advertisers, websites, and even governments.

Finally, we’ve introduced our Proxy Headers Test , a tool that checks if your device is behind a proxy. It works by verifying all HTTP headers commonly used by proxy servers.

All these tools are designed to ensure you’re using the right proxies to protect your online privacy and perform your operations without worrying about your data or IP being exposed.

Customizable Mobile Proxy Orders

We haven’t forgotten our mobile proxy clients this past quarter. We’re excited to announce that you can now customize your mobile proxy orders as well, letting you order and use more than one proxy at a time. Previously, you could only order one mobile proxy server for your chosen location and duration. For example, if you needed 5 mobile proxies at once, you had to place 5 separate orders. Now, you can specify the exact number of mobile proxies you need in a single order, simplifying invoicing and order management for a more convenient experience.

Mobile Proxies Auto Rotation

Here’s another valuable update for our mobile proxy clients. While our mobile proxies rotated automatically, you didn’t have the option to turn off auto rotation. Now, you can easily enable or disable this feature according to your needs and set a custom session duration, with a minimum of 6 minutes. This makes our mobile proxies more versatile or suitable for a wide range of tasks and also harder to detect.

My Orders Section in the Dashboard

Our dashboard is known for its intuitive design, with distinct sections for each proxy type and tool we offer. With the addition of the “ My Orders ” section, we want to further improve your user experience.

This window shows all the orders from your account, broken down by product. Orders that expire soon are marked in a different color so they’re easier to spot. Clicking on an order takes you to the dashboard so you can modify your proxy settings. Clicking on an expired order takes you to the same place, so you can order again if needed.

This way, we make it easier for you to keep track of your orders and remaining traffic, ensuring you always have access to active proxies for your projects.
