ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist to join our team and take ownership of engaging, retaining, and growing our existing customer base. You will execute data-driven lifecycle and retention marketing strategies using our omnichannel automation platform, Iterable.

You will design and launch onboarding, growth, and renewal journeys, run personalized email and push notification campaigns, and use customer behavior data to build automated sequences that move users through the lifecycle. This role is highly collaborative—you’ll work with Product, Marketing, Data, and other teams to optimize conversion rates, execute A/B tests, and ensure seamless customer experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Execute full lifecycle and retention marketing strategies for existing clients using the Iterable omnichannel platform;
  • Create campaigns across onboarding, activation, growth, renewal, and other key customer journey phases;
  • Build email and push notification messages using HTML and template builders;
  • Develop automated customer journeys triggered by custom properties, events, and user behavior;
  • Set, track, and optimize conversion goals across all retention initiatives;
  • Conduct A/B tests to improve performance and engagement;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent customer experiences;
  • Use workflow, planning, and documentation tools such as Asana, Confluence, and Jira.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1 year of experience in direct marketing, product marketing, or retention / loyalty marketing;
  • Experience planning and executing activation, loyalty, or retention programs;
  • Understanding of account-based marketing and how to apply it;
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in email/push content building;
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to run and interpret A/B tests;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Fluent English;
  • Bonus: Experience working with SaaS, mobile apps, or omnichannel enterprise platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Maropost, Customer.io, or similar.
