Specific IPRoyal Residential Proxy Features

Beyond the basic proxy configuration, IPRoyal offers advanced features to give you more control, flexibility, and security.

Whitelisting

Whitelisting is an authentication method that lets you grant proxy access to specific IP addresses without sharing usernames or passwords. It’s especially useful for teams that need to manage multiple users securely. Instead of creating multiple sub-users or sharing your credentials, you can simply whitelist specific IPs.

Learn more about managing IP whitelists in our Whitelisting documentation.

IP Skipping

With IP skipping, you can create lists of IP ranges you want to exclude from IP rotation to maintain higher performance and reliability across your operations.

Find more information on how to create and manage these lists in our IP Skipping documentation.

Domain Access List

The Domain Access List feature lets you control which domains can be accessed or scraped using your Residential Proxies.

By specifying allowed and blocked domains, you can optimize bandwidth consumption and enhance overall performance.

IPRoyal Residential Proxies Usage Statistics

The ‘Statistics’ section in your Residential Proxies dashboard provides detailed information about your proxy traffic usage. It allows you to monitor and analyze your residential proxy usage in real time (1) or over a specific period (2).

IMG10.png

This helps you understand how your proxies are being used, so you can identify trends and peak usage times. With these valuable insights, you can manage your data allocation and optimize performance more effectively.

The ‘Statistics’ section also allows you to filter data by specific websites (3) and choose your preferred unit of measurement (MB or GB) (4) for precise tracking.

For deeper analysis or record-keeping, you can download a full usage report (5) at any time with a single click.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large is the IP pool of the Residential proxies plan?

Our Residential proxies plan currently has over 32 million residential IP addresses in over 195 countries.

Does my traffic expire?

No, the traffic you purchase never expires, so you can use it whenever it’s convenient for you.

How long does a sticky IP session remain the same?

Up to 7 days if you use that value in the TTL (time-to-live) field. However, since our Residential Proxies come from real users who can join and leave the network as they wish, we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to use the same IP address for the entire period.

How much does the plan cost?

Residential Proxy plans start at $7 per GB with a subscription. Bulk discounts apply automatically.

Does IPRoyal have a free trial and a refund policy?

IPRoyal offers a free trial for companies to test our Enterprise Proxies. Once we verify company registration and ownership, our team will contact you to arrange your trial. While we don’t offer a free trial for Residential Proxies, you can use our pay-as-you-go plan to order the minimum amount of traffic (starting with only one GB). This way, you can explore performance and reliability at minimal cost.

Refunds are available only if:

  • You can’t connect to our proxy servers
  • You encounter an issue you can’t solve with the help of our support agents within 24 hours
  • We are unable to deliver the service to you anymore.

Can my residential proxies get blocked?

Like all IPs, your Residential Proxy can end up blocked if you abuse it. For example, sending a large number of requests to a specific website from a single proxy can result in an IP block. The simplest way to avoid this is to set a request rate limit in your scraping tool, and make sure you’re using the Randomize IP option so each request comes from a different IP.
