How to Set Up SwitchyOmega in Less Than a Minute

To get started, you need to download the extension first. You can find it here:

After you install it, make sure to open SwitchyOmega’s options and click on New profile :

Enter a profile name and leave Proxy Profile checked in the list below. When you’re done, hit Create at the bottom of the pop-up window.

In the main SwitchyOmega settings window, ensure to choose the proxy protocol that matches your settings in the IPRoyal dashboard (HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5). For the Server field, enter the Proxy hostname from the IPRoyal dashboard. Finally, regardless of using username/password authentication or whitelisted IPs , use the number in the Proxy port from IPRoyal’s dashboard in the Port field. Once you’re done, click the lock button to the far right.

Once you do that, enter your username and password. If you’re using whitelisted IPs, you can ignore this step. Click on Save changes to get back to the main settings.

Once there, click the Apply changes button.

All that’s left is to click on the SwitchyOmega icon in your extensions and select your new proxy profile.
