ABOUT THE ROLE

As a QA Engineer, you’ll dive deep into the world of web application testing, working on products that involve complex networking and proxy-related functionality. Your main focus will be hands-on, manual testing—digging into features, uncovering bugs, and ensuring a smooth user experience across a range of scenarios. This isn’t a passive role—you’ll be actively involved in shaping quality, collaborating closely with developers, and staying curious. There's also room to grow into automation, with opportunities to learn and contribute to automated test coverage as part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, execute, and maintain detailed manual test cases to ensure product functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Conduct thorough testing of web applications across multiple platforms and devices.
• Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in planning and design discussions to provide insights from a QA perspective.
• Test new features and verify bug fixes as well as updates, ensuring they meet high-quality standards before release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to understand and define testing requirements.
• Run regression tests when necessary to ensure that essential features still behave as expected after changes.
• Continuously suggest and implement improvements to QA workflows and processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience in manual testing for web or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools like Jira or similar.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for uncovering issues and ensuring high-quality user experiences.
• Strong communication skills to clearly document and discuss issues.
• Nice to Have:
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright;
• ISTQB foundation certificate;
• Knowledge of basic SQL queries and databases.
