ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. The Sales Intern will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, analyzing data to uncover market trends, and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lead generation, data analysis, and sales operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Identification:

  • Research and identify potential leads through various sources such as databases, social media, industry publications, and online research.
  • Utilize tools and software to gather and compile information on potential leads.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze data to understand market trends, customer behaviors, and potential opportunities.
  • Segment leads based on criteria such as industry, company size, location, and potential fit for the product or service.

Lead Qualification:

  • Assess the quality and viability of leads based on predefined criteria.
  • Prioritize leads based on their likelihood to convert into sales opportunities.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads in the CRM system.
  • Ensure data integrity by regularly updating and cleansing the lead database.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on lead generation strategies and goals.
  • Provide insights and feedback to help refine lead generation tactics and campaigns.

Reporting:

  • Generate reports on lead generation activities, including the number of leads identified, qualified, and converted.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and suggest improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-orientation.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Research and online search skills.
