What to Do First?

Here's what to take care of before you migrate, without needing acess to your old provider.

  • Document your setup

    Identify every endpoint, credential set, and integration tied to your previous provider across your environments. This lives in your own systems, so consolidate it before you begin.

  • Remove your credentials

    Once you have decided to switch, treat your old credentials as something to retire. Remove them from every script, config file, and integration as you migrate, so nothing is left behind.

  • Check your billing

    Review recent card charges and cancel any auto top-ups tied to your old provider, so nothing continues to bill. If you spot anything you don't recognize, contact your bank or card provider directly.

  • Watch for phishing

5. Update Authentication

Set your IPRoyal username and password, or skip credentials entirely with IP whitelisting. Either method works across your dashboard and integrations.

6. Verify Your Setup

7. Complete the Migration
