IPRoyal 2024 Q2 Update: Online Proxy Checker, New API Version, and More!

It’s time for our newest quarter update. As you may already know, we’re constantly making changes and improvements, nothing new there. However, there are new features and tools you should know about so you can take advantage of them. Here are IPRoyal’s 2024 Q2 updates that we’re very proud of, as we believe they will improve your experience by making it easier and more secure.

Online Proxy Checker

Until now, we only offered a proxy tester for Windows that allows you to test sticky and rotating proxies and ensure they work properly. In the last quarter, we’ve expanded our tool list with a new addition: an online proxy checker that’s even easier to use.

You don’t have to download or install anything, so it’s really straightforward. All you need to do is enter your proxies and click the Begin Test button. You can even enter whole proxy lists and see which proxies work while learning more information about them, such as their status code or performance.

Our tool can be really useful for any client, especially those who aren’t allowed to install software on their company devices for security reasons. You can check proxies from any device with internet access, saving your time.

Residential Traffic Usage With Time Zone

So far, we’ve shown traffic data for your residential proxies in the UTC zone. However, we understand that your time zone may differ from UTC, so we’ve made a change.

We realized that it would be better if each client saw their traffic usage in their real time zone. So, from now on, we show your residential traffic usage according to your specific time zone, making it easier to track traffic usage and ensuring a more accurate tracking experience.

UX Improvements & Enterprise Page

Making UX changes is nothing new for us at IPRoyal. After all, we want to provide our clients with a seamless experience, and that requires constant changes. This time, we focused on updating the footer section to improve navigation and ensure you can easily find our most important pages without wasting time.

Since enterprise clients make up a large part of our customer base, we’ve developed a page dedicated to them. Our enterprise page covers everything they need, from scalable proxy solutions to personalized support for optimal experience.

CN Documentation & Website Update

During the last quarter, we dedicated much of our time and efforts to supporting our Chinese clients. Initially, we introduced documentation on our Chinese website , but this quarter, we focused on updating it.

We’ve also renewed our Chinese website globally, ensuring it features up-to-date information and provides a seamless user experience for our clients in China.

New API Version

Another important update we want to mention is our new API version. The endpoints to which you send your requests have changed, so we suggest checking the documentation for more information.

Along with the endpoint improvements, we’ve also changed the responses to improve speeds even further and minimize delays. The old API version will no longer be updated, so make sure you use the new one to benefit from the latest enhancements.

Enhanced Fraud Prevention

We’ve always strived to make our proxy service reliable and secure. This is why we have a strict KYC policy and 24/7 network monitoring, and adhere to the industry’s highest legal and ethical standards .
